Luke just made a sad little nod. "Okay, whatever you wish." he told her.
He then left to his room to rest, he was depressed now.

Caroline moved her head, making his lips press onto her cheeks. "No." She whispered. Her eyes traveled to his. "I still am getting married to the prince. That thought is not changing. I have to." She sat up and looked at the water, seeing fish swim around.

Luke rolled to his side looking at her. "Are you still angry about that girl?" he asked. "She isn't my type really...but then again niether are you." he told her. "I don't have an excuse about her, she's just an old friend...and besides I really like you." he told her. Leaning over to kiss her.

Caroline rolled her eyes. "Don't call me that. It's just Caroline." She sat beside him as well and gently pushed him. With that gentle push, Luke fell onto his side, bringing her down as well. "Ow," She groaned, turning onto her back and looking up at the sky. "Now, aren't you gonna say that you meant nothing back there in the parlor?" She asked, bringing some attitude in it.

He nodded when she told him it was all his fault, but then she hugged him and he didn't care anymore. He put his arms around her waist, sitting her down beside him. "I do care Miss Caroline."

Caroline became startled and fell into the water. She drifted to the top, her eyes looking at Luke's. "You heard?" Of course he did you idiot She thought. She picked herself out of the lake. "Ugh," She groaned, shivering. "This is all your fault." Suddenly, she giggled that turned into laughing. Caroline didn't know why, but she felt it was the best thing to do. She stood and hugged Luke, making him all wet.

Luke talked to the girl for a few more minutes. He realized that a horse was missing. "uh...bye." he told the girl. He left looking for Caroline, he found her. "I care...and tell them the truth, I can talk to my parents okay?"

Caroline was excuse from the room after Prince Luke was. She walked to a balcony and looked down. Her eyes became hurt at the sight she saw. Luke was with another girl. "I see how he wants to be," She whispered, turning around and rushed downstairs. Racing out the door, Caroline sneaked to the stall and grabbed her horse. "Come on. We are leaving," She ordered. It neighed, but trotted off. But the horse wasn't going the right way she wanted it to go. "Hello? My home?" She kicked the sides of it, but kept going until stopping at a lake. "Why did you take me here?" Caroline swooped off her and sat next to the water, dipping her feet in. It was cold, yet warm. "Mmm," She tilted her head back to face the sky. "I'm sorry, Luke. I can't tell them or they will kick me out. Besides, you don't care." She whispered to the blue sky, pretending it was him.

Luke froze. He felt like saying. "You wanna try that again?" but he didn't. Caroline wouldn't tell them. He quietly nodded. "Yeah...I guess..." he whispered. "Why would we freak out? Luke you are so off sometimes." his mother told him. He looked at Caroline and then left the room. "well...that's over with." he thought. He left to the garden to Pere. "Hello sir." he greeted. "Hello." he pulled a flower from a bush. "Todays been...wierd?" Luke said to himself. A girl approached him. "Hello Prince Luke, how are you today?" she asked. "Fine..."

Caroline gulped, but stepped foreward. "Sir...I..." Her eyes drifted to Luke's. I am to wed...Prince..." Her mind stopped her. She couldn't tell them why or how and she couldn't tell them his name. "Prince Charles," She said at last. Her eyes left Luke's. "He has asked me to marry him and I said yes." Caroline forgot to mention that her traitor's brother was dead...for eight years.

He didn't move. For a moment he didn't...but desided to talk.

"Come on, I won't let him take you like that. I will talk with my father and see what we can do." He told her. He pushed his hair out of his face and put his arm around her waist and walked inside. A guard greeted them. "Hello sire...do you need anything?" he asked. "Not at the moment, just looking for father..." "In his royal room." "Thanks." He walked upstairs to his father and mother's room. He knocked on the door. "Father, mother, Miss Caroline would love to tell you something..." he said through the door. He slowly walked in with Caroline and shut the door behind them. "Okay, so father don't freak out, but Miss Caroline needs to tell you something..." He looked at her. She could tell he wouldn't leave her, but she had to tell them.

Caroline was shocked at how he confessed his feelings. "Luke..." Her face softened. "I like you too. You're the nicest person that has treated me right." She gave him a kiss on his cheek, lingering her lips there.
