Caroline whipped to face him. "Do you know how many girls like you? How many times I've seen Princesses come in to the building, but to leave weeping?" She stood and glanced at the roses. "Do you even know? Prince Luke, you don't know what I feel or even want more than life, do you? How about you tell me what you want more in life cause I already know? It's for you to become King."

Aiden

Luke's mouth had dropped. As she left he sat down on his bed and looked up at the ceiling. "Why, why can't we be friends?" he asked himself. Luke looked out his window to the royal garden. "Maybe, she'll like some flowers..." he left for the garden. "Mr. Pere, are you out here?" he asked. "Yes sire?" "Can you get me some roses please?" Luke asked. He wasn't only nice to Caroline he was nice to everyone that worked for him. As Pere got the roses together Luke saw Caroline playing the piano. Luke was handed the roses. He walked up to Caroline. "Ms. Caroline, here are some roses." he layed them on the piano in front of her and sat down beside her. "Miss. Caroline, can't we be friends?" he asked her.

Caroline jerked her hand away.
"Fine you want to be the nice type then hear is the real me."
She snapped then breathed,
Time to show him my true side Caroline snapped.
"Don't touch me. I'm a subject, peasant, and now servant. You address me to maid Caroline or just maid. I am not going to be treated as an equel to you..."
It hurt Caroline to say the next two words.
"Imbecile Scumbag!"
Turning, she raced down the stairs.
The king stopped her.
"Let me go!"
She kicked and screamed.
The king tried to calm her.
"NO! TREAT ME DIFFERENTLY YOU SCUMBAG!"
A hand was raised by a guard and went down upon her cheek.
Blood sputtered from her mouth.
After the king let go of her, Caroline raced out of the house and to the back.
She stopped abruptly in front of a pool with glass on top of it.
She awed.
A piano sat in the center.
She remembered the time she was taught piano by her adopted mother.
Caroline sat and started playing a lullaby.

Aiden

"Wait!" he exclaimed then immediatly calmed down. "I'm sorry Miss Caroline. I just didn't like the fact that my father was such a jerk." he told her. "And I don't care if someone, is a peasent, or rich, or...anything..." he stood up. And walked toward her. He held her hand. "But, I'm sorry too, for making you angry, for anything that I did that made you angry. I wasn't trying to make choices for you, I just didn't want you, to be a servant."

When Caroline finished, the queen told her to apologize to Prince Luke.
"He has never defended anyone like he did you."
The queen said.
"Oh."
As Caroline walked out, she heard muttering in another room.
Curious, she cracked the door to see Luke.
She pushed the door open, stepped in, and shut it.
"I'm sorry for being infuriated. I was...I'm not used for people to stand up or make choices for me."
Caroline sat on the windowsill and stared at the sky.
"I don't want to be the girl who gets picked on for being adopted."
A small small tear fell and she wiped it away.
"I'm sorry for saying that."
She stood up and was fixing to leave.

Aiden

Luke had lowered his eyes. He was sad that Caroline was angry at him. "Father, what's going on? he asked. Not even letting his father answer he left upstairs. As he walked past his mother's room he stopped. He heard Caroline. He then sighed, and left to his room. He didn't know what else to do. "I didn't mean to...I just thought she didn't deserve this..." he whispered.

Caroline brought her eyes towards Luke's.
"No," She said firmly.
"I chose. Don't make choices for me."
Stopping out the room, she rushed up the stairs and into the closest room possible.
Turning, she found the queen shocked to see her.
"Sorry. I was...I'm Caroline. I'm your new personal maid."
She stated shyly.
"Do not be shy. It's okay to be in my presence. Has anyone told you that you look just like me?"
Caroline nodded.
"I've been told that I'm also your long lost daughter, but that is silly."
"Come in now, crack the door."
Obeying the queen, she sat next to her on a pedalstool.
"Tell me all about your life, Caroline."
And doing so, she started with when she was brought to her adopted parent's home.

Aiden

"Father, don't force her to be your maid, can't you just let her go home." he asked. Luke shuffles his feet then stops. "I'll get the carriege ready and, I'll take her home." he told his father. He lowered his eyes, then seemed sad. He didn't like the way his father treated her since, he liked Caroline.

Caroline smiled then nodded.
"It's okay."
She turned back to the king and sighed.
"I'm sorry for being a bitch towards her scumbag ass."
Suddenly, the king pulled her towards him.
"Listen girl, don't ever touch my son or talk to me that way ever again."
He threatened.
Caroline was offfically scared.
"I-I'll be y-y-your maid," She stuttered.

Aiden

"No father wait, don't force her to do something like that." he told him. "Miss Caroline may not be in our royal family but I don't ever want to see someone treated that badly." he lowered his head as if he was sorry to his father for talking back to him. "And Miss Caroline, you may be a "peasant" or "subject" but I don't care about that, you still should be treated like you should be...a human." he turned to her, then back at his father. "Sorry father but please don't force her no, force anyone to do anything they don't want to." Luke seemed sad, he felt bad for the way Caroline was being treated. "Also, don't ever lay another hand on her again." he told the guard. He turned to Caroline. "Sorry Miss Caroline." he had apoligized.

Caroline looked shock that Prince Luke was helping her.
She pulled herself from his side.
"It's okay. I've had this down to me for awhile."
Caroline stared at the king.
"Sir, I'm nothing to you, but a peasant or subject."
Caroline turned to Luke.
"Prince Luke, I'm only those things. You don't have to help me. I'm not like you and other royals."
She looked at the guards.
"You can take me home."
"NO!" The king yelled.
"You cannot leave my home. Starting today, you will be my son, wife and mine's personal maid."
She nodded and curtised.
"Whatever you say, Your highness," She said, sarcasm dripping from every word.
The king stood and walked towards her.
Caroline put herself close towards Luke.

"Don't lay a hand on her!" Luke shouted at the guard. "Miss Caroline are you okay?" he asked as he helped her up. "What's going on?" he asked his father. He looked back and forth at Caroline and his father what was goin' on?
