John sighed and then rubbed the back of his head, "Alright. There was this group of thieves, I guess they were, and the one that looked like the leader threw a knife at me. After that everything went black and I found that my hand was burned pretty badly. Then just a moment later something happened and it just went back to looking like new. I am entirely confused about everything." He said rubbing his eyes then continued, "And just a short time before that I was in a city eighthundred years in the future, then I wander into a room just to be sucked up by this black swirling vortex. People call it a worm hole in my time." He said to them rubbing the back of his head, "It's all a real blur to me."

John understood what she meant and then proceeded down into the mage's dwelling. This placed looked less wellcoming inside the place than it did on the outside of the city. John thought he'd get his questions out before he had to stay silent and asked her, "So, what is the mage like? Is it a guy or a girl? How old is he or she?" He asked one after the other to get them off his chest.

(Don't worry about it. I'm not a super strict guy)

John nodded to her and then stared at his burned hand thinking about what caused him to go through that kind of a personal change, "No, I didn't know about my hand going on fire." He said to her and then he flexed it a few seconds to have the burns heal quicker than the fire burned his hands, "I think that there might be something wrong with me. My hand just healed up."

John snapped back into reality when the threat was over and then he shook his head, "What the heck just happened. I feel like I got hit by a bus." He said then saw that his hand was partially burned, "Um, can you explain what just happened. The last thing I remember was the one thief throwing a knife at me then everything went black."

John looked up at the door and then remembered that this wasn't just a renasaence(sp) fair village. It was the real thing, "Uh yeah. Thank you again for taking me over here." He said to her and then noticed some street thugs start surrounding them.

The one that looked like the leader had a knife in his hand and then tossed it up and down, "Well what do we have here? An elf and a crusty no good human. I thought I've seen them all." He said then he threw the knife at John.

Something clicked in John's body as the knife reached his skull then as if he were another person a shield appeared around his body vaporizing the knife the moment it made contact and then he raised up his hand which now had a red glowing orb in the center, "Get out of my way now or you will become ash." He said as the orb turned into a flame. Something about going through that worm hole cause changes in his body.

John nodded then he rushed after her making sure that he could closely follow her, "It's nothing really. It was unfair odds to have four men against just one woman. I had to lighten things out for you. Just my first time taking a life, and i hardly felt a thing." He said looking down at his hands and seeing blood stains that were not really there, "Let's just get everything taken care of. I don't feel quite right."
