John looked at the paper and then he sighed when it was written in elven, "Could you translate this for me. I can't read this." He said to her a nervous laugh coming accross his mouth, "There's so much about this world I don't know, like how come there are no elves, or dwarves or dragons in my time. I don't think a dragon could even help me out there." He said to her and then he sunk into the back of his seat, "All this almost makes me not want to come back to my time."

Luna couldn’t help but laugh at John’s statement about Inferno being a know it all. “All dragons are like that. They seem to know a lot about life and how things are and should be. Dragons make elves look like kids. In some ways we are.” She smiled as a man came up and gave them a couple glasses of water and a sheet of paper with scribbles on it naming different kinds of foods they could serve. She nodded as he walked away. “It a guess but we believe when a dragon is born the knowledge of the parents and on bag is passed to them.” She leans back adding “in all honesty humans are seldom chosen as a rider. I don’t know about you, but most get very annoyed when the dragon tells them what to do, if you know what I mean.” She sighs “Humans see a dragon as a pet, but they’re not. They are just like you or me or a dwarf, I don’t see why humans look at them as a pet.” She sighs taking a drink but smiles “Dragons can talk to their rider in their minds. But it takes time to learn, it doesn’t just happen.” She glances at the paper saying. “You seem pretty open minded, just remember that Inferno does know more then you, and if you have questions you can ask him or me. Anyway, so what do you think you want to eat?” she asked him with a kind smile.

John sighed, "Well, in all honesty. Inferno kind of acts like a know it all brat that you'd find where I'm from. But other than that he's a really nice and he's kind of sute, in an animalistic sort of way." He said as they walked then sat down where she was sitting, "I never thought that a dragon could talk. I mean, I read books about dragons that talked into the rider's mind, but that's all."

Luna chuckled “Not really fun. We all do it… and Ya sure we can stop. We were planning on stopping at the INN anyway.” She smiled at him heading to the INN. She opens the door and lets him in and calls as she walks in “Mike Two here… we will be in the back” she waved and the man at the bar nodded and she lead him over to a two seat table in the back. “So what you think of Inferno?” she asked with a smile.

John waved good bye to Inferno then he followed after Luna. Shortly after he caught up with her his stomach growl, "In all the excitement, I forgot that I was hungry. That funny." He said to her and then he sighed as another loud growl over took his stomach, "Mind if we make just one stop on the way back?"

After a couple of hours when the sun was letting the night sky take over Luna gets up and walks back in to tell John they need to head back to her place. Even in the city walls it still wasn't safe out at night. She walked through the den back to where Inferno's small place was. She smiled glad to see them at least doing small talk. She nodded to them as she walked over "Sorry to bother but it is getting late." she noted to them. "I hope everything makes a bit more since to you John." she added she smiled to Inferno "If either of you need any help I'm here. Not like I have to worry about others." she shrugs feeling off balance all of a sudden she shift slightly holding her hands together behind her back watching the two.

Inferno looked down at the boy and asked him, "Do you at least know anything about riding a dragon of even a horse for that matter?" He asked John feeling that he was the rider, yet he was disappointed by the fact.

John gulped and shook his head, "No I don't. I didn't even know that dragons existed in the world. At any time." John said slightly nervous and slightly confidant now that this thing was going to let him on his back, "But it is nice to see a dragon after so much wondering."

Inferno snorted blowing a small flame out fom his nostrils, "Humans, they're all the same."

Luna watched calmly as Inferno looked to John. She titled her head as he quested the boy. She didn’t fully know who or what the ancient sage was but she knew it was old and powerful. She watched the dragon closed his eyes for a moment then looked at her. She smiled lightly and nodded. “That’s good…” she ran her hands down the warm scales before stepping back behind John, Inferno was his dragon now.

“I’ll let you two talk and get to know each other.” She noted nodding to them both before turning around and walked back to the entrance of the Den. She sighs and sat down against the wall when she felt the light against her face. She was happy that Inferno found John but was disappointed. She always loved dragons and several people were shocked that a dragon never came to claim her like the others had with her friends.

OOC: want to point out that Inferno is a younger dragon… that’s why he so small >.< lol))

Inferno looked at the newcomer and then he ducked down to stay face to face with John, "Who are you one that posesses the magic of the ancient sage?" He asked him as it looked at him, "How did you get this magical power young boy?" He asked again swishing his tail behind himself staying face to face with John.

John stepped back a couple of steps when the dragon started talking to him the replied to it's question, "I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't even come from this time." He said to the small dragon and then he gulped in the lump in his throat.

The dragon then closed it's red eyes and looked to Luna giving her a nod, "He is the one that I have been searching for. This boy is the chosen one."

Luna blinked as he took off “John!” she called after him then chased closely behind him. They soon came to the den and she followed him in. She sighs seeing the bronze dragon. “That’s one way a dragon can look” the bronze was large with a horn at the end of its noise. The eyes were white with a black slight in it. It watched them both quietly. It was hard to see how else it looked as it was curled up.

“That’s Henery” she noted. “Inferno is on down here” she noted taking John’s arm and pulls him on in. They seen a couple other dragons before she stopped. “Hey inferno” she called out and a dragon about the size of a horse comes out. His scales looked like they was made of fire as the sun brakes through the top of the cave to dance on them. He had to small horns that came from the top of his head but looked like they start at the corner of his eyes. He was lean and small looking like he was built more for speed then strength “This is inferno” she noted placing her hands on him. Her rubs his head gains her hand and purred slightly “poor thing don’t have a rider yet” she noted. “most of the time the dragon has picked his or her rider but he hasn’t yet.” she sighs and motion for John to come over “he won’t bite” she smiles at him.

John immeadiately switched from a slightly depressed form of mind and then had a bright glow to his eyes, "And why would I not want to see. Dragons are extinct where I'm from." He said to her then shot out hoping that she would hurry up before the sun fell.

Over at the dragon's den when they had both reached it, John heard a growl from behind a wall then after a minute he saw the massive dragon that lay before him. He just stood in awe as he saw the tragon with his very own eyes, "So, this is what a dragon looks like. It's everything that the story books said they would be. This is awesome."

(I'm not mad. Trust me, it gets more than just a late or small post to anger me. Try desensitizingng yourself from being called a homo when you're not.)

The older Mage nodded slowly deep in thought. “And there is nothing else to be said?” he looks to Luna. Luna nodded slowly and he sighs. “Well you have to give Jay and myself time to think this over. Please do not leave the kingdom John. We may send for you” with the he moved away.

The younger mage walked back over to them “Tea may be a bit later” he made a funny smile and showed them the door. “You both be safe. I’ll keep you two posted as much as I can. You know how the old man gets” he noted and closed the door.

Luna sighs watching the door closed then looked back to John “I hoped that would have been more help then what it was. Come on, I guess, you wanted to see the dragon” she smiled at him kindly.
