Emiri hung her dress in the closet, giving it one last, sad look before walking out. To her surprise, Malory was there to greet her. Instantly, she smiled. Although it wasn't as big as she normally greeted her with. "Hey. That was fast." She glanced behind her in the hallway, wondering if Terran had put the blonde up to following her. "I've got to stop by Cian's room, in his wing, to let him know the color arrangments." She walked by Malory, pausing to wait and see if malory would join her. "Wanna come?" She asked finally, then walked down the hallway towards Cian's wing after getting Malory's answer.
--
In Cian's wing, Emiri didn't find him in his room. Or at least, when she knocked, he hadn't answered. She frowned deeply, she was a bit concerned. She didn't want to spend all of her afternoon searching for him, just to tell him the color of her dress. As she walked by Cian's small library however, she spotted his dark figure sitting in an exquisite leather chair behind a beautiful mahogany desk. A thick book was open in front of him, as he spotted his guest(s), he closed the book it slid it out if sight.
"Emiri...?" He questioned her, his eyes narrowing slightly. she didn't even bother to knock before entering his library. And before he could feel the rush of irritation, he recalled he had left the door open. She smiled towards him, and to Cian, it beamed right into his heart. Any agitation that remained was swept away. "I just wanted to let you know I've decided on my dress. It's elegant and red." Cian smiled, greatly pleased. As he stood, he pushed the chair back. Where Dean and Deacon were light, Cian was almost their complete opposite. His skin was slightly tanned and toned. He had dark hair, and dark eyes. His attire was mostly the same everyday; dark clothes. Today he wore dark black jeans, and a midnight blue shirt, the buttonss opened at the top near his neck to show his ripe chest. "I'll make the arrangement for my outfit as well. And..Malory?" he asked what she would be wearing to the ball.
After they were done, Emiri slipped back down the hallway to meet Terran for food.

Malory smiled at Terran before he disappeared, slipping into the dressing room to change back into her simple white tank top and destroyed jeans, zebra print flats on her feet, mother's locket around her neck. She slid the dress back onto the hanger and carried it carefully from the room where she met the other two.

She nodded to Emiri, believing that it was a good idea to drop her own dress off in her room too. Malory smiled at Terran, "Yeah ... so thats why we have to keep her with us as much as possible ... oooor try to get Mac's attention," she said as she grinned evilly, winking at him. "Alright, we'll meet you there."

With that she made her way to her room, hung her dress up in her closet before making her way out, shutting the door and going to Emiri's room to meet her.

Terran's eyes brightened and he smiled at Malory. "Food is a great idea!" He carried the tuxedo with him, "You two should probably change first though. Don't want to make the rest of the guys in the house jealous." He chuckled, walking out of the room to give the girls a bit of privacy. He waited in the hallway for the both of them.

Emiri changed in the walk in closet while Malory took the changing room. She hung her dress back up on the hanger and carried it out to the hallway. "I'll drop this off to my room before we go to the kitchen for food." She smiled at the two of them, walking down the hallway towards her room.

Terran frowned in her direction, looking to Malory. "She really doesn't want to go with Cian, poor Em." He nudged Malory with his elbow playfully. "You should probably take that to your room too. Don't want to get anything on that pretty white dress, hm?" He asked, then held his tuxedo up. "And I'll take this to my room. I'll meet you guys in the kitchen." He flashed her a dazzling smile before heading down the opposite way of the hallway.

Malory stood back and watched Dean speak to the other two, able to think more clearly now that she had her personal space back. She glanced over at Terran, his back had been to them for a while now. She knew from the set of his shoulders that he was upset, but she wouldn't say anything. He had come to mean so much to her in such a short amount of time, and she didn't want to make him more upset. When Dean left the room, Malory smiled her goodbye, drifting over to Terran's side.

Malory frowned slightly that Terran's tux had to be so simple, trying to think of a way to spruce it up. "Maybe we can find an amazing flower for you to wear on the front," resting her finger on his chest where the flower would sit on his tux, smiling as she thought of it. "And it can be any color too!"

Malory turned and smiled over at Emiri, knowing the tone in her voice well. "Hey, what do you say we change back and go get something to eat? Then we can go see how well the ball room is coming out?" Clearly a change of subject was needed, she wanted to see her friends happy again.

OOC: No worries :) I was already passed out lol! Sleep tight, ttyl!! <3 <3

Dean watched her for a few moments before before pulling away, smiling over at Terran. "I wouldn't go with a white tuxedo, Terran. Maybe a black tuxedo with a white vest. Too much white will having people turning away." He glanced back down at Malory's white dress, his eyes sliding down her form to her feet. "Yes, the black heels are perfect." He stood up fully, turning towards Emiri. Her eyes were settled on Dean, watching him carefully as he made the other two in the room feel on edge. Dean's eyes traveled down Emiri's legs to her heels. "Very nice choice, Emiri. You look very elegant. Cian won't be able to keep his hands off of you." He chuckled, knowing that Cian wasn't her preference. He walked out of the room, waving over his shoulder. "Can't wait to see the two of you on the ballroom floor."

When he swept out of the room, Emiri frowned in his direction, then turned to look back at Terran and Malory. Terran was slouched at the tuxedo rack, his back facing Emiri and her perceptive eyes, Malory and her worried expression. As Terran composed himself, he turned back to the two girls, pulling out a simple black tuxedo with a white vest, taking Dean's recommendation. "I'll just stick with this. It'll go well with Malory's dress." He smiled widely, and Emiri smiled hesitantly. "Well then, I guess I'll let Cian know what I'm wearing later on, so he can match too." She didn't sound enthusiastic, but at least she was looking forward to going to the ball.

Malory smiled at her friend, taking the black heels from her, "These shouldn't be too bad. I'm not used to huge heels, the largest ones I ever wore were when I danced, and even they weren't too big."

As Dean's voice could be heard and Malory looked up, facing towards the door, she felt her heart skip slightly. Both from not having known he was there, and the fact that he now was there. There was always something about him ... she didn't know what it was. Dangerous, alluring. It drew her in, but at the same time, she wondered if she would regret the reactions he gave her. They shouldn't be happening at all, and yet here she was, standing stiff as a board, blushing at his words, bright blue eyes hardly daring to look him in the eyes.

As he moved towards her and took her foot in his hands she gasped, not expecting his touch. She hardly heard him speak, only froze as his eyes met hers. Damn it all ...

Finally his words registered with her. "O-oh, yeah! Um, actually I liked these too ... thank you Dean ..." she said, for the first time slightly nervous. When she thanked him she spoke barely above a whisper, a blush dotting her face again. She was internally confused, and out of the corner of her eye she caught Terran's reaction. That made her worry.

OOC: Lol, its quite alright! :)

The light touch of Malory's hand gave Emiri comfort, but when Moira left, hissing about something, Emiri just rolled her eyes. "She's just being melodramatic." The girl with the long, dark hair turned around to smile at Malory. "You look very good in that dress." Terran was staring at the two girls, a soft twinkle in his eyes as he held his hands together. "It's a shame you girls can't walk into the ball together, arms looped an all! Cause, if I dare say, you guys are the most beautiful beings I've ever seen. With beauty like that combined...." He tossed back his head, laughing loudly. "You're surely a devastating team to go up against."

Terran bent over, plucking up a pair of high heels that shined with gold and were outlined in black. "These would look perfect with that dress. Just a nice amount of dangerous to add to it." He chuckled, Emiri took them and tried them on. "They're a bit loose, but if I tie them tighter, and with nylons, they should be perfect." She grinned, then looked to Malory. "Hmm... Do you like high heels, or prefer something a bit smaller?" She had pulled out two pairs of white heels, one that had a high an slim heel, the other wasn't so high and a bit more stout. "Oh, and black would be a nice offset with the dress too." She handed her a similar pair of black heels.

"The black would look best." A surprising voice came from the doorway. Leaning against the door frame, with his arms crossed, as Dean. His golden eyes were trained on Malory, who had just taken the pair of black heels from Emiri. Emiri frowned, her back facing Dean now, her facial features only visible to Malory. She could tell it was Dean from the tone in his voice. It was low and sensual, like he purposely put up that mysterious, sexy air around him. But Emiri knew that this wasn't even him trying to be luring, he could be almost compelling.

His golden locks had fallen over one of his eyes, and he didn't shift from the doorway. He looked content, and like he was going to remain in place. Terran's back went rigid, and he swallowed hard. Why was he standing there, watching them all like that? "Is there something you need, Dean?" Emiri asked, turning to look at him with sharp eyes. Her eyes were penetrating, they were a very light brown with a definite hue of dark red in them. From a distant, they appeared red, some people said it gave her a vampiristic touch. Up close, you could definitely see the mix of brown in them though.

"Don't give me that look, doll. I just heard all the commotion and decided to join in on the fun. Is that alright with you?" He pouted slightly, then a soft purr of laughter came from his lips. Emiri relaxed slightly, then turned back to Malory. "Well, don't just stand there like a lump in the wall. If you wanna stand around here and watch us, you better be giving us your opinion." She waited a moment, just as Dean opened his mouth, then said, "And they better be good." Dean's lips tugged up into a smirk, he enjoyed Emiri's playful manner. "Emiri dear, you know you look stunning. And Malory, you're gorgeous. If I had things my way, you'd both be at my side the entire night." he pushed away from the doorway, standing up straight and wlaking towards Malory, he slid one of the black heels on her foot, his eyes trained on her the entire time. He looked down briefly, then back up at her with a smirk. "Yes, the black one is best." Terran's body shook as he shoved away tuxedos on the rack, dissatisfied with them all. "What do you think, Malory?" Dean asked her, tilting his head casually to the side.

ooc: sorry its so long. xD wanted to bring dean in real quick. lol

Malory blushed furiously as the two of them fussed over her, not used to such attention. "I'm, um, glad you guys like it, thank you!" She smiled at her dear friends, giggling as Terran took her and began to spin with her. Having been a dancer herself, she fell right into the rhythm, smiling up at Terran. "I'm glad to have you as my date, Hot Stuff," she said to him, winking.

It was Emiri's tone of voice that made Malory turn to face her, her smile fading. One look at Emiri's face told her something was up. She stopped dancing with Terran as Moira drifted into the room. Malory drifted to Emiri's side, placing a hand on the small of Emiri's back, mostly to remind herself not to lunge at the woman before them. If she had a hand on someone, it would calm her down. She never felt anger like the anger she felt towards this woman. But she kept her face emotionless, saying nothing. She wouldn't give Moira the satisfaction of knowing she had gotten to her.

Once Moira left, Malory turned a worried face to Emiri, smiling timidly, "Ignore her. You have something much more valuable then she does, something she could never understand. Your a great human being, while her, on the other hand ..." Malory trailed off, looking off to the side, knowing Terran and Emiri got the message. "Besides, you look beautiful. I'm sure he'll notice," she said with a wink.

Emiri's jaw dropped slightly as Malory moved into the room. She breathed, "Whoa..." And fell silent again to stare at her. She barely registered that Malory had given her a compliment, and Terran was grinning from ear to ear. "You look beeeautiful Mal!" He clapped his hands together and moved towards her, taking her hands and spinning her around. With their blonde hair and shimmering blue eyes, they almost looked like brother and sister Emiri thought. She eyed Terran carefully, and something caught her eye.

Instead of mentioning it now, with the two of them so excited about the ball, Emiri turned, going through the clothes on the other side of the wall, where the tuxedos were. There wasn't much to choose from. Black and white tuxedos, and one of them was a dull gray. There were different colored vests, ranging from a light red to a dark blue and any other color except orange. Emiri frowned as she turned to look at Malory and Terran. "He is a great dancer, Mal. You guys will be amazing on the dance floor." She grinned at them.

A moment later, the dark haired girl stepped in. Her brown hair so dark, it almost looked black. Her eyes were a piercing violet, and her skin was fair, just a bit darker then Emiri's. "I can hear your giggles ringing all the way down the hall." She frowned when she seen Emiri, her nose scrunching up with distaste. "You're wearing a curtain to the ball?" She laughed, then looked over at Malory, rolling her eyes. "Of course, Ms. Innocent. Who are you guys trying to impress?" Her eyes narrowed into thin slits as she stepped back into the changing room. "I preordered my dress. They've already delivered it, it's hanging in my room." As she turned to walk out of the room, she added, "And it's far better then either of you could even hope for." But as she walked down the hallway, her ears began to ring. They would both be lethal competition.

Malory blushed at Terran's comments, waving her hand carelessly as he nudged her, "Oh Terran, do stop," she winked over her shoulder as she left into the opposite room, seconds before Emiri arrived. She could hear their excited talking as she slipped the dress on, tying the strings on the back of the dress to keep it from sliding off, as it had no sleeves to keep it up. Once on and adjusted, she turned to look in the mirror ... and she was shocked. She DID look pretty ... maybe even beautiful. Looking down in slight embarrassment, she opened the door, walking into the room where her friends stood, the foot-length dress fluttering behind her effortlessly

Once in the room, she looked up at her two dear friends' faces, worry on her face. "So," she said in a small voice. "You like?" It was then that she caught sight of Emiri, her expression changing to that of happiness. "Oh wow! Emiri! You look gorgeous!!" she said with joy as she stepped forward, resting her hand on Emiri's arm.

Terran turned, admiring the dress and it's innocent touch it added to her. "It looks great, but let's make it look like perfection, and put it on that amazing body of yours." He winked, then laughed loudly and nudged her out of the room to go change into the dress. As she went out, Emiri came in, her red dress clinging to every inch of her curves. The dress reached just above her knees, the gold belt wrapped itself greedily around her slim waist. Her shoulders were bare, but the silky fabric hung loose from her wrist. The gold ribbons were still tied around the hanger, and Emiri twirled once to show Terran.

"Girl, that dress was made for you!" He exclaimed, pouncing towards her and lifting her arms to examine the dress more closely. The dress seemed to melt against her fair figure. "He's not gonna be able to keep his eyes off you." He whispered into her ear, she knew exactly who 'He' was. She smiled finally, feeling comfortable in the dress now. "Mal!" She called out to her friend. "Let's see your dress!" She turned to Terran, grinning. "I bet she looks fantastic."

.... of all the places I could be, I choose here with you. You are too much a part of me now ...

Malory smiled lightly as she watched her two friends talking excitedly over dresses. She hung back, leaning against a sitting chair, letting Emiri have first pick of the beautiful selection of dresses for the upcoming ball. It still amazed her that she would soon be attending a real ball ... and that she lived here in this house. Despite the warnings and the aura that seems to hang around the manor, she feels drawn to it. Not seduced, but rather comforted. She knew she shouldn't, but nothing about this place has made her feel unwelcome. Except, perhaps, Moira.

As Emiri darted off to try on dresses and Terran beaconed her forward, Malory smiled at him and stood to stand at his side. She listened to his suggestions, nodding as she agreed. "You are truly awesome, Terran. I'm thinking ... this white one." She stepped to grab it, liking the way the fabric would hug her body. She liked simple, elegant things. This dress had it all, and the fact that it was strapless made her like it more. She held it up to her body, facing Terran and shrugging, "So? An expert's opinion?"

"And, don't worry. I'll make sure you look sexy too," she said to him, making sure the word "sexy" was said in a attractive whisper to add to the effect. "Your next on the list to find a hot outfit for!"

OOC: I love it Em! I'm soooooo excited to rp with you again!! :)
