Deacon was one to act on his temptations, and when her hair fell in front of her face, he lifted a hand to delicately brush a few tendrils of blonde hair out of her face. He grinned down at her, his amber hues seeming to melt into a light caramel-honey color. "I took classes when I was younger. My brother skipped them, or flirted with the teacher mostly. But I was actually interested in it. We had a wide variety of classes." He explained, his eyes going thoughtful for a moment. "We learned dancing, an instrument, cooking, a bit of housework, and we were trained with weapons." When Emiri and Terran began to slow, and Malory expressed her gratitude, Deacon decided it was gentlemen-like to pull back now. He released her, stepping back. He claimed her hand, then lifted it to his lips to kiss it gently. "No, thank you for the dance. It was my pleasure."

He didn't stop there though. Deacon found this new girl interesting, and wanted to know more about her. "Maybe after dinner I can show you around the gardens?" Asking softly, as not to draw too much attention from her observant friends. He wasn't shy, but he knew they were protective and loyal. And very curious. They would talk a lot, and he didn't want Malory to get nervous, or feel obligated to go to save his pride. "Ah, Terran, Emiri." He cleared his voice, then smiled at the two. "Dinner will be done in a few. Smooth moves, Emiri." He winked playfully, and she returned his playfulness with a sportive wink.

Malory gasped at how well Deacon moved, soon finding herself smiling happily as he swept her across the floor. "Thank you, but you are most impressive yourself," she said kindly, meaning it. The only other male she had ever danced with this well was Terran. She didn't see the faces Terran was making, but if she had she would have been concerned. She enjoyed dancing with Deacon, however, his happy energy was something she was drawn to, and she saw him the same way she saw her two close friends.

Once he spun her and brought her close to him, and dipped her and brought her back up, she blushed. Her hair fell into her face in a seductive way from the dip, and at his question she shook her head. "You weren't interrupting at all, we were just teaching Emiri. It's all in good fun," she said geniunely, looking up at the kind man. She smiled, "Thank you for the dance."

Terran watched the pair carefully, his eyes hooded slightly as he gazed back and forth between Deacon and Malory. What was he doing in here? Why was he dancing with Malory? Emiri noticed Terran's dismay, and she tried to distract him with a conversation. Anything to get his mind off of whatever was bothering him. "Aren't you excited for tomorrow night?" She asked, looking at him from under her thick eyelashes. It was like he was brought crashing back to earth, and he gripped Emiri tightly as he landed. Then he gaze down at her, his blue eyes bright with delight. "You bet I am. It'll be to die for." He laughed quietly, then frowned slightly a second later. "I wonder when dinner is going to be served. I'm hungry." Emiri grinned. "Already?"

Deacon glided smoothly across the floor with Malory in his arms. He held her steady, guiding her effortlessly around the room. His kind smile never left his face, and it held true as it met his eyes as well. He wasn't one of those people who could mask his feelings very well, he wore his heart on his sleeve, and sometimes said things a bit too impulsively. He spun Malory out, away from him for a second before pulling her back to him adeptly. "You move so fluidly." He complimented her, smiling. "I hope I don't pale in comparison." Then he placed his hand tenderly on the small of her back, drew her out to dip her low. His eyes sparked for a second as her hair waved out behind her like a golden halo. "You guys are teaching Emiri to dance...?" He questioned, then swept her from her dip, pulling her to him again. "I wasn't interrupting anything, was I? Not being a burden?"

Malory blushed as Terran touched her arm, but soon she was laughing at the sight of the two dancing. It was a clear difference, the light Terran exuted (sp?) was contagious. She beamed over at the two of them, clapping her hands to make a rthym (my spelling sucks, lol xD). She didn't realize another had come into the room until she heard Emiri exclaim and turned, marveling at how similar the two twins looked now that she had seen both of them. But Deacon was different, not quite as mysterious. More like Terran, but not the same.

She blushed as he extended his arm to her, nodding and smiling at him, "Certainly, Deacon," she said an a gentle voice as she took his hand, allowing him to lead her. Once on the floor she held her arms accordingly and waited for him to take the first step.

OOC: It looks great! Now I have a visual! It makes it alot easier. And oddly enough, looks just how I imagined it, lol!!

Terran watched them carefully, a cheerful smile lighting up his face. "Now you're moving." He said softly, encouraging her. When Emiri started getting a bit better, Malory looked over to Terran. Now he would have to guide her. He smiled down at Malory, touching her arm gently in return. Terran held her softly, and they whipped across the floor. Emiri's head fell back as laughter erupted from her throat. "Terran!" She exclaimed, being lead by him across the floor.

From the doorway, a tall blonde stepped in. A friendly smile spread across his lips, and his amber eyes were soft. Emiri caught a glimpse of him over Terran's shoulder. It was a brief blur, but the smile gave away who it was. "Deacon!" She greeted him, still twirling with Terran. He laughed quietly, crossing the room. His voice was soft, "Hey Malory." He bowed carefully at his waist, and swept an arm out. "Can I have this dance?"

ooc: Well, here it is. Lol. Hope it doesn't look atrocious

Malory started to notice Emiri's stumbles about the same time as Terran, and was glad when he spoke up. She watched Emiri's face and wanted to hug her friend, feeling like perhaps she pushed her too far. She came to Emiri's side, smiled up at Terran in thanks, and then wrapped her arms around Emiri. "You don't need to worry, love. You won't fail, I have complete faith in you. You're a much better dancer then you give yourself credit for, you learn fast and you're graceful," she said with a smile, pecking her friend on the cheek for reassurance.

The second time they started up again, Malory beamed at Emiri. There was the talent she had seen glimpses of, before Emiri started to worry. Her friend could do this, she knew it.

"Ok, now is where Terran steps in, you are getting to the point where you need the male counterpart," she said as she let go of Emiri and stepped over beside Terran, resting her hand on his arm for a moment and smiling. She was certain that their plan would work. She had complete faith in her two best friends.

OOC: Oh thats cool! I look forward to seeing it! :)

Emiri didn't like the shared mischievous look that Terran and Malory shared. She frowned when they led her into the dining hall, and her tall, blonde friend blocked the door. Dancing? They were going to teach her how to dance? She wasn't skilled in this area as she was with singing, but at least she wasn't a klutz. Emiri was told that she had a long, elegant body, and she did. But the compliment that often accompanied that was her natural graceful stance.

She mimicked Malory's body, holding her frame steady as her friend attempted to teach her to dance. However, her nerves were on edge. A nagging voice in her head told her she would fail, and this made her stumble a bit nervously at first. Terran walked around them, watching them closely, mostly just Malory though. After Emiri had stumbled twice, he frowned. This wasn't like her.

"Whoa. Wait." They paused for a second, and Terran came closer. "Hey..." He bent slightly to look at her carefully. Emiri put up a smile, and the prickly feeling on the back of her neck ceased for a moment. "Don't be scared. Malory is a pro. She'll teach you how to move, don't worry about falling. Just focus on your goal." He touched her shoulder affectionately, his blue eyes sparkling as he gazed down at her. The long, ravened hair girl nodded, biting her lip and focusing on Malory again. She took a deep breath, and then said, "Okay. I'll try again." This time, she'd move more gracefully, like a dark swan.

ooc: hey. I've been trying to work on a layout for the manor. 8D
it's a huge place though, so it may take me a bit. lol

A bright blush lit Malory's cheeks at Terran's words, making her giggle lightly. "Oh Terran ..." she said in a quiet voice, still feeling the rush at his words. She definately hadn't expected him to say such things, though it was in his personality so she shouldn't be surprised. It was far too flattering to her though.

At Emiri's confusion, Malory smiled, grabbing into her arms and leading her as Terran led the way to the dining hall they would be teaching her in. "We are going to make sure you impress, hunny," she said simply with a grin. Once in the dining hall, Malory took her place in the center, holding her arms out to Emiri, amiling over Emiri's shoulder to Terran. "I'll teach her the girl's role, once she has that down she'll need you to practice with her," she said as she held her arms in a strong position, beaconing Emiri to do the same. She smiled at her, "It's very important that you hold this frame, it will keep your body naturally steady ..." she said as she began to lead slowly, teaching Emiri the dance they were hoping would be the middle ground between her and Mac.

The blonde guy smiled down at Malory. "Of course I'm excited. I get to dance with one of the most beautiful women all night long." He leaned towards her, whispering softly. "And she happens to be a fantastic dancer." He flashed a cheerful grin at Malory, then turned to grin at Emiri. She tilted her head in response to Malory's question. "Salsa? Waltz?" She turned her confused look up to Terran. "What is she talking about?" The dark haired girl looked back to Malory, a bit intimidated by her knowing smile and the mischievous look in her eyes.

"Ballroom, duh." Terran stated, as if it was obvious. "That's the most important." He started leading the girls away. "We'll go to the empty dining hall. The floor is almost the same material as ballroom floor, it'll provide better experience." Emiri opened her mouth to protest, or at least to find out what they were talking about. Was she really that gone after the conversation with Mac? "What happened... while I was talking to Mac? Are you conspiring to ruin me?" She grinned, looking between Mal and Terran. Her blonde friend chuckled quietly. "Oh yes, Em, we're gonna make you so untouchable that every guy will be aching to be in your presence tomorrow, especially Mac." He lead them to the dining hall, which was empty. This wasn't the same dining hall they used before, it was sort of a spare. He handed Emiri off to Malory. "Teach her well. I'll watch and step in when you need a male lead." He winked at the both of them, closing the door behind them, so the 3 of them would have privacy.

ooc: Eh, been very tired. I've got a job now, and I work like everyday. Horrible shifts. ;_; very early in the morning. So it leaves me tired for the rest of the day. Lol. Mondays and Wednesdays are the worst. Mondays I work like... 12-15 hours. Ugh. xD
Other then that, been doing good. Derek is moving in with me. He is being enrolled in a school by my house tomorrow. Been getting drunk on the weekends. xD I still have my phone btw. You can text me anytime. =] How have you been? Busy?

Malory gazed back at Terran as his eyes met hers, wondering what he was thinking. He had a far off look in his light eyes. When he finally spoke, Malory felt an evil grin start to capture her face, her blue eyes following Terran's to the cute twosome she desperately wanted to make into a couple. "Good thinking, Ter. Perhaps we should just play it by ear, make sure Emiri looks extra sexy tomorrow, and nonchalantly show her off as much as possible," she added with a giggle.

Malory then turned back to Terran. "So, are you really excited for the ball, partner? I haven't gotten to ask you how you feel about it. I'll make sure you have a fabulous time with me, too," she said smiling gently. He was always showing a smile, it was hard to tell what he was really thinking most of the time.

When Emiri made her way back over to the two, Malory smiled and wrapped one of her arms in Emiri's, looking between Terran and Emiri. "Should we start with salsa? Ballroom? Waltz?" she asked Terran slyly, refering to which dance they should teach Emiri first, once they got her back to Malory's room to practice, of course.

OOC: Sorry for the long wait, love -_- How have you been????? I've missed you!!! *hugs*

Terran felt a need rise inside of him, a passion that had almost died out. As he watched Emiri and Mac talk animatedly, and as Malory's urge to help their friend to achieve this happiness rose, it lit his own fire inside of him. Did she do that to others often, he wondered. He gazed down at her silently as he thought. Did she always inspire the people around her to do good, or better? He nodded, turning his gaze to Mac. "Just because Emiri won't hurt Cian, doesn't mean Mac won't. If Mac likes Emiri, and knows that Emiri shares those feelings, he might just stand up against Cian despite who's house it is. I could see Mac fighting for what he believes in, or wants, no matter the cost."

Their white haired friend laughed quietly at Emiri's story about one of her childhood mishaps, and the dark haired girl's laughter joined his. One of the workers opened the french doors, a gust of wind came billowing in. Decorations that weren't placed properly went flying, and her long hair danced with the breeze, splaying across her fair cheeks. Mac lifted a careful hand, brushing the locks of hair off her face. There eyes locked for a moment, before Mac's hand dropped and he turned. shouting in french at the men. One man rushed to the door, closing it abruptly. He turned back to the trio, "If you'll excuse me, we've got more work to do. If you like the place now, wait until tomorrow night." He grinned, avoiding Emiri's eyes as he went to talk to the workers some more. Emiri bounced over to Terran and Malory. "He's amazing..." She sighed wistfully.

Malory started to feel more sad as she listened to Terran speak, knowing what he said was true. It just wasn't fair. She couldn't just watch one of her best friends be so happy with one person but be forced to spend her time with the one she hated, just because the latter was more influential. She grabbed Terran's sleeve and looked at him sadly, pleading, "But what should we do then? I can't watch this," she raised her hand towards Emiri and Mac, "And not wish for her to always be this happy?"

OOC: Sorry, crappy post >.<
