Darius then followed after Sabin with his arms crossed, "Looks like our target is nearby at least. Now, do we bring her dead or alive. I want to see if I can suppress that other half of me long enough to defeat a hostile." He said making sure that his custom hand guns were well loaded and making sure that the armor under his uniform was taken care of, "That our next stop Sabin? Or are were making a second stop."

The waitress came back with Sabin's drink as she heard Darius speak. "You're here to look for someone?" She asked with a smile. "I think I can help." Sabin looked up at the girl. "How can you help?" "I have seen plenty of people here. This place doesn't have a lot of people here and this is the best place to eat, so I have literally seen everyone in town." She said with a chipper tone. Sabin looked at Darius and then reached into his jacket and pulled out a photo of Vanity. "Have you seen this woman here?" The waitress's expression lost its chipper expression. "What?" Sabin asked. "That's Nick's new girlfriend..." She said with a sigh. "Nick is the town's only alchemist. He recently lost his wife and daughter in a freak accident." She said. "About six months ago, this woman came to town and they have been dating ever since." "What was her name?" "Um.. Velma... I think..." She said. "Where's Nick's home?" He asked. "Um... The biggest one in town... the thing is, no one goes there. I haven't seen him in a while either. He may be doing one of studying binges where he cuts himself off from the rest of the world..." "Thank you." Sabin downed his ale. "Wait what about your burger. It's almost done." "You can have it." He said as he paid for the ale and burger. "Its a thanks for the tip. Let's go, Darius." He said as he walked out the bar.

Darius stayed silent and the closed his eyes sitting next to Sabin, "Well, I suppose that we should start looking as soon as possible." He then saw the waitress take Sabin's order though he didn't say anything about his order, "Things are going to get difficultt if we have no leads on her current location. Though lucky for you I used to track to get my next meal s o I became very good at it if she isn't here, but she used to be here then I can tell you the time that she was at her residense and also how long it took her to get ready."

Sabin sighed. "I have no idea how long this mission will last. I guess until the lead goes cold." He said as he sighed. His stomach rumbled. "Great. I need something to eat now." He said as he looked at Darius. "Let's go to the bar." He said as he got his shoes on. He walked down to the bar. It was a small little place. There was only one waitress and a cook in there. That's all they need. "Hey. What can I get you?" THe waitress asked as Sabin sat down at the stoll. "Well. I'll have light ale and a burger." He said with a smile. "Right away." She said with a smile.

(OOC: I am sorry about the late post.)

Darius set his only small bag down on the ground and then he slipped his gloves off of his hands showing the many scars that were only on his hands. If he were to show his entire body it would look like a map of the country from all the scars he had all over him, "So, how long do you expect this mission to last?" He asked and then stared at the scars on his hands, his self inflicted punishment for not being able to save a family back before he becaame a state alchemist. It wasn't the events that happened when he was in training for martial arts, it was the emotions he felt when he wasn't able to protect anyone dispite his strength, he just didn't know it yet.

Sabin sighed. "You are way too serious..." He said with a concerned manner. He looked at the prisoners and closed the cell. He followed Darius until he realized that he was about to meditate. He went back to his private car. "So many questions... So little answers..." He said as he walked. I know why I became as State Alchemist. He thought as he thought about the woman that originally taught him alchemy. The trip continued until they reached their destination. The police was ready to take the guys into custody. They gave the story that the others were killed out of self-defense. The went on towards the hotel that they were assigned to. They entered the room, which had two beds and a bathroom. "Well, now that's taken care of..." He said as he flopped on the bed.

Darius looked over to Sabin and the walked out of the car, "My mistake sir. I thought that I would walk instead of run here." He said with his usual stone faced look then he looked out on the horizon to see the ocean of trees, "Why did I become an alchemist? Was it to proove that anyone could try after reading up and practicing alchemy, or was it a case that I had found my calling for the rage of my other half?" He asked the question in a philosofical way and then he walked into the passenger car to seek his privacy for meditation.

Sabin nodded at Darius as he continued on with his breakfast. He was scarfing down the food. It took about thirty minutes, but he finished his meal. He leaned back in his chair with a look of satisfaction on his face. He looked at the clock when he was done. He's been gone for too long... He thought as he stood up and went towards the direction that Darius went to. He went to the storage car. "You sure are taking your time..." He said as he opened the car door.

After he finished his eggs he set his silver ware on the plate showing that he was finished and then he patted his lip with his napkin, "Excuse me. I'm going to examine the prisoners to make sure that they are still harmless." He said as he got up and walked to the back of the train in the storage car to check on the prisoners who were still close to a catatonic state until he walked into the car and then they just plain lost their minds but they were tied up unable to move.

Sabin chuckled. "I don't see alchemy as a crutch, more like an extension as yourself. I have weapons as well. You aren't the only swordmaster on the train you know." He said with a chuckle. "Well, let's get off the subject. It's hurting our chemistry." He said as he finished his stack of pancakes. He stood up to get some more food. He came back with a large plate of eggs. Another was filled with sausage and biscuits. He had a bowl of white gravy as well.

Darius closed his eyes and said to him, "The reason that I don't require much is that I only use alchemy in absoolute emergencies. When my other hald is unable to destroy my enemy. And at that it is usually to create an armor around my body." He said and then he started on his eggs, "I do not use alchemy as a crutch for power, and that is why I forge all of my weapons. So that I do not rely on others for power."

Sabin smiled. "Well, if you are using a lot of energy in battle, like most alchemists do, then you need a reserve of energy to draw from. I am not telling you that you have to overeat or eat junk food, but undereating is just as bad as overeating." He said as he started on his pancakes. "But...." He said in a defeated manner. He knew that he couldn't change Darius's opinion, so he stopped. "If you are comfortable in battle with that little amount, I have no choice but to except it."
