Rina smiled and nodded. "Sure that sounds like fun, and I guess your right. Squirtle let's go. Tackle." She says. She then looks over at Sly. "Nice to meet you I'm Rinabell. You can call me Rina for short." She says extending her hand to Sly. "Squirtle lower her defenses with tail whip then follow through with tackle." She says to pokemon who easily follows her orders. She then looks over at Sly, while still keeping her focus on her own battle. "When do you capture it?" She asks holding a pokeball in her hand. "One more Squirtle." She encourages. As the attack hits for the second time the Burmy stumbles almost losing balance completely.

'Rina looked at the boy. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. I just don't him to lose again and the easiest way is to train." She says. Taking Nurse Joy's advise she heads into the tall grass to see what type of pokemon she can either use to train or capture. "Okay Squirtle let's do it right this time." She says placing her pokemon on the grass. It took her a while to realize she needs to learn how to catch a pokemon. She and her Squirtle start heading back to where the boy is. Luckily they won't run into a good pokemon she would want to catch or Rina would be a bit upset about it.

Rina was almost about to cry when her pokemon came back. When asked if it was their first battle she nodded. She held her pokemon's pokeball as if she would never have it again. Somehow she just had to see if he was safe so she let him out and held onto him. Sensing his trainer's worry he sat in her lap while the boy from before walked up to her holding some bottle. "What's that?" She asks trying to get her voice back. She then looked from Nurse Joy to the boy. She wipes her eyes and flashes a fake smile. "Thanks, sorry I ran off." She says before heading for the door. She turned back only once to thank Nurse Joy for her help. Now in the town she decides they need more training before she challenges the gym leader of the area. Looking back she sees the male. "Do you need something?" She asks a little annoyed that she had to stop from training.

Rina was having trouble looking. Her body seemed frozen by both pain and something else, fear. A weird image came to her mind about how she might lose her pokemon and friend if this continued. Before she knew it she had already returned her Squirtle to it's pokeball and fallen to the ground in shock. Not being able to feel her lags she shivered. After a few minutes of this she found the strength to get back to her legs and was somehow running to the next town. The only thing in her mind was saving her pokemon nothing else mattered even the scraps she had gotten from the ground when she fell. She finally made it to the pokemon center and handed Nurse Joy her pokeball. "Help him please." Was all she managed to say in a small, barely audible voice. She made her way outside getting a few very strange looks from the people she passed.

Rina runs over to her Squirtle. "Are you okay? We can stop and train in the grass if you want." She says to her pokemon. Her Squirtle just stands up and tries again with a few more tackles. "Alright you win." She says to her pokemon before walking back to where she was. "Squirtle we don't know many attacks, but let's not give up. Tackle until we hit." She says as both her eyes and her pokemon's become inflamed with determination. The Squirtle tries his best to hit the digging pokemon with his tackle attacks. "That's the sprit let's do this." She says encouraging her pokemon to get a hit.

Rina stopped in her tracks. He wanted a battle, but she had only just started and knew very little about all these things. None the less she plucked her only pokeball from the strap of her bag strap. "Here goes anything, Squirtle time for our first battle." She says pressing the center of the ball and throwing it with just enough pressure to open it. She then pulls out her pokedex and reads her pokemon's attacks. "Okay Squirtle lets try a tackle attack." She says to her pokemon. With a small nod from her pokemon he begins his attack. Rina hopes the attack will do something since the only other attack her Squirtle knows is tail whip and that won't be very useful. "Come on Squirtle let's try our hardest okay." She says liking the feel of the battle. "Now again tackle!" She says.
