Azula grinned and her pointy canines revealed themselves quite clearly, she knew that this Vegeta was smarter than he looked and most likely knew she was something different. When he took off she unfurled her wings and pumped them until she rose beside him, she easily kept up with his pace as he turned his head to her and finally introduced himself properly. She smiled slightly, her steel gray eyes amused "My name is Azula Mirage, Royal Guard to the King and his family but that wouldn't mean much to you" she said knowing that he knew nothing of where she came from. Azula let her eyes wander a bit over the land and she was enchanted with what she saw below her. Green fields, forests, trees, all sorts of flowers and plants. One thing that got to the demoness was nature, you didn't see much of it in her land due to the wars and various other reasons. She looked back over to him "so where exactly are we going?" she asked curiously.

Vegeta was unsure why the women cared so damn much for a planet and people that were not her own. He could feel the life energies that flowed through those around him, and this woman felt was much different. Now that they were in quite close proximity, Vegeta was given the opportunity to observe her other compelling features.Vegeta chuckled when she said to not expect her to play nice with Nappa. "HA! No matter, no one plays nice with him." He said. His tiny scouter flipped out over his one eye, displaying a series coordinates to their space pods. "This way.." Vegeta motioned, taking off into the sky towards the east. In mid flight he turned his head next to him and looked at the women. "I'm Prince Vegeta." He introduced.

Azula sighed softly in relief when the man said that he would spare the planet for now since she vouched for it. As unpleasant as this job sounded the advantage was that it might help her find her way home again "very well" she said softly before stepping up by his and Nappa's side. She glanced at them from the corner of her eyes "but don't expect me to play nice with this buffoon" she said indicating Nappa before folding her arms across her chest stubbornly.

"Ugh, don't tell me your one of those sympathetic types. Feelings can be nothing but trouble, and should be forgotten. Best thing a warrior could do. I suppose there it no reason for me to reduce the planet to ashes. If it means that much to you I guess I'll let it slide." Vegeta said. "Don't expect this to be a nice job placement, our job, and now your job are marking planets for demolition and reconstruction. You go ahead and keep you little techniques, leave the big ones to the elites." He taunted. "Nappa! Prepare the pods for launch! Frieza's approaching this sector."

Azula barely managed to hold her explosive temper in check as she stared up at the man hovering above her with such a satisfied smirk on his lips. Slight electricity crackled at her fingertips but she held herself in check and answered him as calmly as she could. "If I am to be your partner then the planet stays. Perhaps we could work out an agreement to keep them safe" she said. Her family had once been rulers and a chief instinct that still resided with her was the need to protect people. These humans may not be her own people but still they were weaker than her and deserved someone who would stand up for them. She crossed her arms solidly across her chest and pushed with her wings so that the cloak covering them fell off and revealed the leathery wings on her back. "Besides if you kill me...you could lose out on learning new techniques" she said.

A half smirk remained stretched across his face as he peered up into the stands at the female. All the attention in the whole arena was centered around them now. He took a moment to glance at Nappa. "Those who can be pushed around deserve to be pushed around, if you can hold your own then your respected." Suddenly Vegeta started to raise up off the ground and hover in the air. "I really don't see what choice you have. You could join me, or stay and die with this planet, i care not. So, what will it be?"

Azula was slightly suprised when the aura from Vegeta slammed into her whirlwind and made it dissipate on the spot but she didn't let it show on her face. She kept her expression cool and collected as she looked over at his now smirking face. He seemed to be slightly impressed with her though and she smiled slightly tilting her head to the ground. When he asked if she would be his partner she looked up skeptically "partner huh? Well I saw how you treat your partners and I'm not really one to be pushed around...besides I don't destroy random planets or people" she said icily. "Maybe if you toned that down I might be willing to give you a shot" she said with a sardonic smirk on her face now, she was clearly taunting him with the fact that it would be a priviledge if she accepted his offer.

Vegeta rose his hand high above his head, ready to launch it down into the tournament grounds when he heard the voice of the women he'd previously bumped into, speak out from within the crowd. Slowly his arm lowered back down to his side, the sphere of energy dissipating back into his hand. His dark eyes followed her while she moved through the crowd, getting closer to the ring. As she stepped towards him a sudden whirlwind whipped about the grounds centre with Vegeta and Nappa in its core. Nappa shielded his head with his two massive arms, struggling to keep himself still. Vegeta on the other hand was able to hold his ground firmly, only raising a hand to keep the dirt out of his eyes. Despite the roaring winds he was able to hear her question. "No, I'd much rather play around with someone of a bit more sport." Vegeta answered. This women was stronger then his partner, that was for sure. Prehaps it was time for some change. Vegeta held his arms out from his hips at 90 degree angles, his hands tightly clenched in fists. He began to concentrate, expanding his powerful aura ot in every direction. The ground cracked in a web pattern under him before the ring and ground crumbled and were exerted out on all sides. The whirlwind around them broke up when the shock wave off his body hit it, returning to the previously warm, sunny day. Vegeta cracked a smirk on one side of his face. "You've got some talent.." Vegeta noted, crossing his arms. "Say how would you like to become my partner." "Ummm Vegeta, you still have me." Nappa added. "Nappa, no offence but if you and her went at it, I'd say she'd come out on top."

Azula let the rose crumble into ashes from her hand and float off on the wind before the commotion with Vegeta started. She turned cocking an eyebrow at the scene and shook her head lightly. This guy was had an ego bigger than a planet and it was starting to get on her nerves. Azula brushed a hand through her hair and watched the man gather energy in his palm and compact it, it was a deep purple and she marveled at it for a moment. "Well isn't death beautiful" she murmurred softly hoping maybe to have caught his attention. Azula slipped through the crowd of stunned humans so that she was closer to the Saiyan Prince. She might not be able to stop his attack completely but she could sure as hell contain it and send it careening off in a harmless direction, a star might get obliterated but at least a planet wouldn't. Azula never claimed to be the most compassionate person alive but she still had the instincts of a ruler and that made her want to protect people. Azula stepped forward boldly behind him and called up a whirlwind to seal them off from the rest of the people, the wind would contain anything he used, she was sure of that and hopefully she could work something out before that had to be tested. "Tell me, is it really worth a Princes time playing around with these people?" she asked examining her nails like she had no more interest in him than a fly on a wall.

Vegeta suddenly glanced toward the crowd when the young women he bumped into previously, emitted a small energy signature. He could feel it, she wasn't like the rest of the weakling on this world. Nappa howled from the center of the ring, winning another match, with ease mind you. The prince just glanced at it partner for a hard moment. His fist compressing and energy ball to throw. With quick precision Vegeta wiped the tennis size ball straight into Nappa's chest. The explosion did hardly any damage to Nappa yet nearly crumbled the whole ring from the shock wave and explosion. The crowd was completely shocked and scared. "Hey what gives!" Nappa yelled. "I had enough playing around here Nappa..." "Hey you can't attack another player before its your turn to fight them. Your disqualified!" The voice of a ref blurted in. Vegeta gave the ref a stiff frown. "You fouls, I had no intension of abiding by your feeble rules. I Am Prince Vegeta! A Saiyan, the greatest race of warriors in the galaxy. I answer to no one. In fact I'd say you all have 10 seconds, before I turn this tournament into a crater." Vegeta held his hand out infront of him a growing purple sphere of energy compacting.

Azula smirked when she watched the man rub his chest and she barely contained her suprise when the shorter man known as Vegeta punched Nappa in the chest for being a 'wimp' as he called him. The cruelty of the move befitted what she had found out about the man but she wasn't used to seeing such disrespect even by someone upper ranking. Azula sighed and pushed her hair back as she watched the two men start their matches and both easily won them, she was quiet impressed with them she had to admit. She stood and circled over near where she knew the fighters would take their leave. When they released to intermission a man approached her with a rose, she could instantly tell he was one of those who thought he was a charmer and she rolled her eyes. "A beautiful rose for a beautiful lady" he said in a suave voice and slid closer to her, Azula scowled "sorry but I don't like flowers" she said taking the plant and burning it to a cinder between her fingers. There was a slight hush from the people around her and she guessed that they had never seen an element manipulator before.

The giant known as Nappa towered over the woman's small figure yet when she poked him in the chest he felt it, flinching. "Ow.." He said lightly, rubbing his chest. "Come on, wimp.." Vegeta ordered, walking over to where the competitors were being paired up with their competition. "Rrrr damn that stings.." Nappa said again, still rubbing his chest. Suddenly Vegeta slammed his closed fist deep into Nappa's gut bringing the giant to his knees. "That should keep your mind off the pain." Vegeta said, crossing his muscular arms over his toned chest. Nappa continued to gag for breath, holding his stomach on the ground when he suddenly looked over to where the young women was sitting, watching her taught him by blowing a kiss. How he despised her at that moment. "We'll it looks like we'll be fighting each other for first place if you win all your fights.." Vegeta said, walking over to his partner. "Don't assume I'm going to go easy on you Vegeta.." Nappa replied slowly getting back up to his feet. "Ha! Don't make me laugh. I could beat you without even using my hands." Vegeta mused.

In no time the first matches were already under way. Nappa fought first, facing another man about his size. With a crushing one punch the man was knocked out of the ring. Vegeta fought fought next against a man in a karate robe. Crossing his arms over his chest Vegeta yawned backing up towards the edge of the ring with his back to his match up. The man ran at him fast, and jumped with an extended leg towards him, intent on knocking him out of the ring. Vegeta's image flickered and the man traveled right through his vanishing figure and fell outside the ring by himself. Just as quickly at Vegeta vanished he reappeared in the centre of the ring. "Next!" He called.
