As they sat in silence he could almost feel her tension, yet he sat as if it didn't exist, perhaps this was just common amung his family. The fear and anger, the scared and frightening...their curse. He paused at her outburst, waiting for her to settle down before continuing, his soft eyes finding her as he spoke. He nodded at her responce, "I believe of all of us he is the one that suffered lonliness the most..." He said softly, clicking his tounge in thought. "He fears it, above all else, the darkness of lonliness...but he prefers it to rejection that ends in lonliness..." He shook his head, sitting up and putting his head in his hands, thinking to himself as she wandered off into her own thoughts and her own tears, turning to look at her as she spoke.
"Perhaps if would of been better for Yuki, or perhaps it would of just pushed him farther back into his hole...I can not be certian..." He spoke evenly. "But what's done is done...How Yuki will react when he comes out of it...no one can be certian..." He said with a sigh, looking back up at the open, welcoming sky, whispering in your ear of the freedom it held. But not matter how much you wanted to fall into it, it was to far away. "If it's anything with what happened to him as a child...well we can be certian it was not good...Akito is god, but not all powerful, he only has as much power as he has connections..." He glanced at her slowly as he spoke. "He won't be at the main house much longer...only as long as nessissary..." He told her with a sigh as he rolled a blade of grass between his fingers.
"Hatori knows it's not good for him, as soon as he's well enough he'll be moved back to shigures...where I'm sure you would be quiet welcomed..." How pointed out, though as much as he would rather end on the light mood he continued. "However it's not just Yuki's physical health Hatori's worried about, the main reason he's moving back to Shigures..." he told her, focased on the green blade of grass as he twirled it, starting to stain his own fingers green. "Even now we can't wake him from his own mind...and no one knows what state he'll be in when he awakens...or if he'll still be trapped in his fears and memories. . .regardless of what happened a chain of events has started that can not be undone." He told her with a small sigh.
"I can't be sure what's best for Yuki right now, I'm not sure anyone can...It's like dealing with a delicate egg set on the edge of a plank. One wrong move can send it crashing to it's destruction. However...I can tell you that hiding back in the shadows is no longer an option." For the first time in a while it turned, his eyes meeting hers. they weren't the softened eyes of his normal self, nor the angry eyes of his other personality. Rather they were the eyes of a Sohma, hardened by experiance. "And indeciion can be just as dangerious at tims like this...you may have to make your decision very soon. you have brought yourself into our affairs, but unlike us you dont have to base your decision on instinct and thousands of years of traditions. You perhaps have the greatest advantage, you can follow the instinct of your heart..." He informed her, after ward once again falling back into the soft grass, the moment over, and his normal self returning.

| :: Why did I ask such a stupid question earlier? I should be aware of Haru and Yuki being cousins. Of course he'd find out sooner or later what that dam Akito did!:: She thought silently to herself, averting sapphire hues in sudden shame. Here she was sitting nonchalantly in front of Yuki's cousin as if nothing had happened, but she was well aware of her surroundings. Every whisper of the wind, every single noise that entered her ear and the sound of Haru's masculine voice mingling with her muddled sub-conscious. Aya sat back upon her heels, almost regretting her decision to speak with Haru. She should have gone of to lunch with her brother or at least gone of to the library to drown a thousand miseries in a fantasy world. Yet, the blond-haired girl comprehended that such acts would undoubtedly earn her the nickname of coward or in the worse case...curse words that she did not fathom to remember. :: Just wait to see how this meeting turns out.:: She mumbled motivational words to her troubled mind, realizing instantly that such lies wouldn't fool the spirit inside. Shoulders slumping, the young woman finally glanced at the peaceful Haru, her anxiety peaking furiously when he did not answer instantly. But after what seemed like an eternity a single nod from his head brought a numbing sensation to Aya Mikage. She almost wished to dig a deep hole for herself in order to hide her shame or perhaps her own guilty conscious. "Akito..." Aya repeated the name with disdain, her entire expression changing into one of complete loathing. :: I hate her! I hate her!:: The words echoing endlessly. "Calm..remain calm." She formed silent words with her lips, making sure to not utter a single sound.
Releasing her aching hands from their death grip, the young woman felt her emotions settle down somewhat. She could think clearly now that Ceres had finally gone to sleep, without the worry of having to run if the tennyo decided to have an unannounced visit. Crouching against rough tree bark, Aya let her attention refocus on the white-haired Sohma besides her, while he let her question hang in mid-air. Again the blond-haired girl clamped down on her rising apprehension. She needed answers. Or perhaps reassuring words to believe in herself once more. Perhaps Aya needed someone who would give her the blunt truth as a wake up call, but when Haru did answer her question. She was stunned to see he'd counter it with another question of his own. "What kind of question is that?" :: No..I didn't come here to be interviewed...nor did I come here to pick a fight..but I'm becoming strangely angry again.:: Gulping slightly, she struggled to keep sapphire hues glued to Haru, battling internally to keep from looking away. Yet, Haru was not the one offending her, she was the one being to hard-headed to listen to his advice. :: Look..you shouldn't be mad at him. The one who has all the fault is none other then yourself. Your own foolish self for believing that isolation would be best for Yuki.:: "N..no..Yuki might be cursed...but he deserves happiness as much as everyone else does in this world. There were many things about him that I didn't understand until now. Loneliness and rejection is one of them...and I knew it hurts to be left out" She answered at last, keeping a steady tone with the young Sohma besides her.
:: Oh no..what am I doing? All these time...the answer has laid right beneath my nose. I'm rejecting my poor brother...hurting him as silently as I'm hurting Yuki.:: She lowered her face down until long bangs covered her expression from sight. Hot tears stung her eyes, but she fought them away fiercely. :: I don't want to cry anymore!:: Aya cried out, using her hands to whip away the stubborn tears from her eyes. "Do you think I want to abandon Yuki? Do you think I want to erase him from my memories..but if I had known Yuki would suffer this much..then yes..I wouldn't have gotten close to him." Aya replied, glancing once again to the canopy above. "But what other choice do I have Haru? Look at the results of what happened to Yuki-kun...we both took a risk seeing each other behind Akito's back, only to wind up being discovered by her." She sighed silently "I know I'm not going to be well received if I decide to randomly visit Yuki again...yet I also don't want to see him breaking apart either." Aya let her eyes fall half-shut in thought, fearing the worse for Yuki if his fragile mirror should indeed break apart. :: What would happen then? Would he cease to speak or...:: Her mind trailed off unable to continue the string of thoughts, for the girl's face had gone milky white in panic. As much she wanted to brush off Haru's word, they only served to haunt Aya even more then before. Fright etched lightly in her blue hues, she whispered "I want what is best for him."

Haru knew she wasn’t going to be long as he stared up at the clouds, closing his eyes softly to himself. What was he supposed to say? In truth he wasn’t even completely sure, but he knew Yuki wasn’t the only one suffering, compassion didn’t work the way, it wasn’t a one way street. His mind flashed back to Yuki, lying unconscious on the bed, bruised and beaten, trapped in his own mind. It made him sick to the stomach, it always had…Akito and Yuki. Especially when Yuki was never anything but nice, but thoughtful, what had he done? Nothing. It was a curse, it didn’t have to make sense he supposed, it just was. What was Aya thinking? Haru wasn’t sure if he would have been able to be the cause of it, black Haru would only be the beginning, the guilt to strong, especially after having seen the state he’s in.
He felt her coming before she arrived, his eyes still closed, almost as if he was asleep, though he wasn’t. Infact he was far from. He knew that Shigure had told Tohru Yuki had gone to stay with his family for a bit. She was nervous, cautious but with as little as she knew about his family she bought it, for now at least. He nodded, opening his eyes slowly as his eyes found her in response to her question. “I know…” He said slowly, “Damn that Akito for it too…” He sighed, pushing himself into a sitting position as she sat down beside him, not responding to her statement for a second, letting it hang in the air. “Do you really think that?”He asked her, turning to look at her. “You think because he’s cursed he should be isolated from everyone but his family?” He asked her, his eyes watching her. “His family already rejected him, you think it was wrong you gave him hope?” He picked a white flower at his feet, twirling it between in fingers as it twirled in and out of sunlight beneath the speckled light of the leaves. “Do you think it’s right to leave someone alone? I suppose it would work for some people…” He said with a sigh as he finished. “But it breaks others,”
“Are you willing to leave Yuki, let him vanish from your memories?” He asked, suddenly reminded of Hatori, shaking it off quickly as he turned to look at her, his eyes traveling to another small blond figure across the grounds as he spoke again. “Because we don’t forget even when others do…no matter how much we may or may not want to. If you are going to do that you at least should have the respect to open your eyes and understand what you are doing to the one you’re leaving behind. Forsaken, forgotten, and rejected is all he’s ever known, locking it all deep inside to try and move on after escaping the main house. Like a smooth piece of glass his hard with each rejection by each person he ever put his trust into, eventually everyone leaving another crack on the mirror. How long do you think it will be before breaks? How deep of a crack do you think he can take? Because you were by far the deepest, and he’s been pretty bad off before, forsaken his speech to live in his own world. Do you think it’s right to take his hope away now when he’s come this far?” He asked her, pausing now to let her think.

| Side by side the Mikage twins walked down the crowded aisle towards their first classes of the day. Usually both siblings would be chattering to each other while the other strained to understand the complex conversation that would often lose itself amongst the sea of students. Though today both Aki and Aya stayed deathly silent, the tension resting heavily upon Aya's shoulders. She turned her face slightly to the right, casting a single side-glace at the quiet male walking besides her. Pale face drawn into an emotionless mask, her brother seemed to suddenly turn into a complete stranger. What happened to the usually happy blond-haired male she was used to seeing in the morning? She hated to be a hypocrite now, but she'd prefer the cheerful Aki any day to the silent one. Averting her gaze back to the path ahead, Aya heard her brother utter a few sentences. Even if she had to strain her ears to hear him above the roar of pupil voices. "Do you intend to run out of class like yesterday?" His question came out completely unexpected and the fury written in his deep blue eyes frightened Aya. "No..Aki. I don't intend to leave class anymore..but I also do not intend to discuss my actions with you." She retorted coldly. Her icy voice seemed to both offend and surprise Aki for he quickly turned away from her. His shoulders went ridged and his jaw squared firmly into his jawline "Very well. Just don't come crying to me when the teacher assigns detention." He hissed, stepping into the classroom with his back to Aya the entire time. :: Why does it hurt? Why!?:: The blond-haired girl paused at the entrance, one hand resting against the wall for support. Since yesterday her emotions had been completely muddled, but could it really be her doing? Or was is her own guilt at Yuki's terrible predicament. Finally with her shaky composure glued together, Aya entered into the classroom already feeling the burden of finding Yuki's seat completely empty.
With the teacher absorbed in her lesson and time ticking slowly by, Aya dropped her pencil into her notebook. Finding that she couldn't even concentrate on what the teacher spoke much less place any real effort into taking vital notes. Lips curved into a worried line, the young woman stuck a peek towards her twin brother, envying the fact that he could keep his attention on the board despite his lingering concern for her. :: If he were in my shoes perhaps...then he'd know why I can not concentrate.:: The blond-haired girl mused quietly to herself, turning sapphire hues back towards the board. Almost an hour till lunch started, her concentration broke long enough to recognize two familiar figures slipping in through the classroom entrance. Aya gripped the edge of her desk with one hand while fighting the urge to walk out. "It's not their fault...it is mine." She reminded herself softly, but understood that her current situation was a precarious one. :: Wait...wasn't I looking for Haru this morning?:: Her mind questioned uncertainly, sending the young woman back in time. Indeed the words were true, yet she felt a deep discomfort in confronting Haru and telling him her real intentions. That was if she had any left to act upon. Aya swallowed back a lump in her throat, hardly aware of anything until a loud bell served to wake her out of an induced state. The students emptied the classroom leaving both siblings alone to deal with their problems. "Aya..are you coming?" Aki asked, grabbing his lunch box from beneath the table. "No..I'm skipping lunch today to run some important errands." She lied giving Aki one of her sweetest smiles to entice him away. "Eh..fine with me. Catch you later." He waved slightly before vanishing amid the crowds.
Aya blew out a soft sigh through her glossy lips as she watched her brother head to lunch alone. Deep-seated guilt stole its' way into her heart, nearly making it weak from shame. "I've become such a terrible sister." She whispered sadly to herself, making sure that no other student could hear her words for they would be quick to judge. Though without warning she felt a familiar stirring inside of her. Ceres had begun to shift restlessly inside of her, causing several tremors to run up and down Aya's spine. :: I sense a presence coming.:: The woman's smooth voice echoed in her mind, urging the blond-haired girl to cast her gaze towards Haru and Momiji. She cast a knowing glace at the two young men, but kept completely silent. What could she say to them? Especially if both knew what had occurred yesterday. :: They wouldn't know how to react..after all..Yuki is related to them.:: Biting her lower lip slightly, she lifted her eyes in time to see Haru meeting her eyes. Handing clenched into tight fists, the young woman watched him wonder away from the area. Her heart and mind knowing what to do while her body decided to stayed glued in one spot. "Dang it." She hissed, forcing herself to heed the hint he'd given her. Fueled by stubborn determination, Aya made her way from the lunch room towards the school grounds outside. Pausing slightly to catch her breath, Aya eyed Haru cautiously from a safe distance. Should she go or head back in? Should she act like a coward? :: I've never been one to back down from a challenge..nor am I going to start that habit now.:: Stumbling towards the white-haired Sohma, Aya planted herself beneath the outer-edge of the tree. Blue hues eying him uneasily while her mouth formed troubled sentences "I don't suppose...you now what happened to Yuki? Right?" She mumbled softly, dropping her gaze to the floor. :: I know he knows...but what else..can I say.:: "Perhaps..it would have been best for Yuki to have never met me in the first place." Aya commented, dropping down to the ground with legs crossed upon the soft grass. _________________ I show no fear, yet in the end...it is myself I'm afraid off - Kenji

Hatori watched her, her words cold and harsh. He glanced at the sleeping rat wondering that, even if in sleep he sensed it, felt her uncaring words in the air. He leaned back closing his eyes gently, Sacrifice the word played through his head, it was a part of the curse Hatori knew all to well, the sacrifice for someone you love, seeing them happy even if it meant you alone. But... the curse was no the same to everyone. One curse perhaps but it was different to everyone. Perhaps Aya didn't know if, but she had just hit Yuki's head on, and perhaps the deepest, rejection. Hatori stood up, brushing off his pants as he followed Shigure out of the room. In the hallway you could hear Akitos angry voice from the other side of the house, growing louder with each step. "He deserved it" "Let me go" "I warned her..." Hatori slid open the door, Akitos eyes flying to Hatori. "You know don't you? How foolish Yuki was to wander away from us! We're a family! We're the Zodiac! It's just us! Forever and ever..." Hatori didn't respond, pulling a needle from his pocket and sliding it into Akito's arm, inserting a clear liquid before she could protest. A screach echoed over the grounds, Hatori standing up and, without another word, leaving the room. Unfortunately it wasn't that easy, Shigure following behind hikm. "What did you do?" The dark haired male asked, Hatori stopping, turning around to look at him, his eyes traveling back to the room that was growing quieter. "I gave her a sleeping medicine, when she wakes up her mind will be at least in its normal state again..." He said slowly. “You really didn’t wanna wait did you?” Shigure asked, Hatori sighing, “I suppose not…” He said softly, disappearing into his office, closing the door on Shigure.
The next day Haru and Momiji were sitting at the edge of Yuki’s bed, the boy having transformed back and rebandaged by Hatori at some point that morning, though he was still unconscious, and Hatori suspected he would for at least a day or two, after that no one knew what would happen. Momiji turned to look at Haru, who was watching Yuki with a solemn expression as he looked at his bandaged body. What wasn’t white or red bandages was colored with bruises, few sections of the skin left unaffected. “Haru…did we make a mistake?” Momiji asked, looking at him, his voice soft, almost scared at he looked back at his cousin, reaching out as if to touch him, comfort him in his sleep, but thinking better of it and pulling his hand back. Haru was silent for a long time before sighing, his eyes never once leaving Yuki, his ‘first love,’ as he sometimes referred to him. “Someone made a mistake…” He said slowly, “But love and kindness are never mistakes as long as we realize they are seldom not followed by pain…” He told Momiji, running a finger over the back of Yuki’s hand, one of the unscratched parts of him right now. “And now if things end badly, it will break him.” He said softly, the phrase almost ironic with as broken as his body was now, but the physical pain would be nothing to the mental, the healing much slower, and the pieces left scattered long after the body’s have been recovered. “You two really should go to school, “The soft voice of the Sohma doctor making both of them jump, Momiji jumping up off his chair and spinning around to face him, Haru not moving for a second. “I suppose your right, don’t want anyone thinking somethings wrong with the Sohma family!!” He said, having a way of keeping a smile when all was lost, Haru standing up silently behind him, turning slowly. “Let us know if anything changes…” He said before walking past him, Momiji following at the two left the room.
At School Haru and Momiji had no problem getting a note with a made-up excuse from the office, sliding into their classroom with no problem, only an hour or so till lunch. The time passed slowly, finally the two of them heading towards the lunch room. They spotted a very worried Tohru and strangely quiet Kyo easy enough, but they weren’t who Haru was looking for as Momiji ran off to join them. Finally his eyes rested on the person he was looking for, a girl who had almost completely changed. Looking at Aya, even if he hadn’t knows what, it wasn’t hard to tell something was wrong. Watching her he felt a bit of guilt himself, meeting her eyes and nodding slightly. He supposed growing up with it they had been used to it, but what would of happened if they had been immune to Akito before. . . what would they of been like innocent to Akito’s wrath. They would never know, but it was almost scary to think about, Haru knew he would be a lot different than he was today. It was a concept beyond him as he turned around, wandering away from the crowd, hoping she catched his hint as he found a place in a shady corner of the school grounds, sitting down under a tree and leaning back on the ground, watching the sky above him.

| "You should know you mean a great deal to him though..."
The blond-haired girl paused hesitantly behind the wooden door, one hand wrapped tentatively around the brass knob. Her facial expression changed into a stoic mask from which no emotion could escape, even if sapphire hues gave away their distinctive angry gleam. Aya shivered slightly, all of Hatori's words ringing in her mind and clouding her senses even further. :: Why did he have to tell me all of this?:: She mused remaining completely still for a few more minutes. "Heh..I suppose I did mean something to Yuki in the past...but not anymore." The words left her lips without her permission, yet what else could she say to the young man behind her. There were no other possibilities in which she would argue against Hatori, not when her own soul had been rubbed down to the very core. And she wished he would not have mentioned Yuki's feelings towards her for it struck home in the most painful of ways. Swallowing harshly, Aya decided the time had come to depart for home. :: Aki must be seriously worried..for school has ended.:: She clenched blue eyes shut, managing to force the door open by brute strength. Her body moved automatically into the dark hallway, the hellish gateway to the infirmary closing behind her. Blocking out the sight of both Hatori and Yuki behind a mass of steel and paint. The young woman stumbled heavily through the house, not knowing how she had been able to navigate to the outside world..towards freedom.
"Why?..Why did he have to tell me!? Why did I involve myself in this mess!?" Aya cried out in frustration, her trembling hands burying themselves into the tangled mass of brownish-blond hair. Sapphire hues finally opened to reveal not the dark house from which she'd escape hell, but another scenery. Trees and bushes appeared in front to taunt her for several meters away a medium-sized gap appeared between the brush. Whispy strands of blond-tresses clung to the branches, lazily swaying on the wind as if to remind her that this territory was forbidden. :: How dare you mock me.:: She growled softly, bolting towards the opening in the foliage, the clumsy trip back to the city sidewalk brought on flashbacks of her desperate race towards the Sohma House. Only a few hours ago had she been on the other side of the barrier, yelling and threatening Akito with empty words, Empty promises that she wouldn't keep. "Don't forget...the blood.." Aya trailed of unable to continue her sentence. Such negativity coming from her mouth served to dampen an already soggy spirit even more. The young woman did not know how long she could keep up with her burden and still deal with Aki at the same time. Yet she knew he must never find out about the incident or all would come loose. Smoothing down a wrinkled blue skirt, Aya padded easily towards school grounds barely avoiding getting lost in the rapid rush of eager students on her way to the gates. Her brother came out from within the alabaster building, his body doing 360's to locate his missing sibling.
"Aya!?" He called out solemnly, strong hands cupped around his mouth to amplify his voice above the multitudes. The young man stopped calling as his throat began to burn painfully, lips thinning in disappointment..he wondered what had become of Aya Mikage. Why had his once responsible sibling become such a wretched mess? Why had her high scores gone down to almost nothing? Why the sudden change? He suspected it had to do with her dislike of school coming back. What else could trigger the change? Or it could be lack of parental guidance? Aki shook his head, not wishing to burden himself with anymore worries. "Over here!" He perked up instantly, spinning around at the sound of his sister's familar voice. A tiny smile touched his lips only to disappear upon seeing his sister appear before him with such a ragged disposition. Azure hues scoured her face endlessly, recognizing red-rimmed eyes and disheveled hair. Had she been in a fight after school? "Aya..have any of our classmates...threatened or.." He paused as the blond-haired girl raised a hand to stop him. "Please.." She begged him desperately "Please..I wish not to talk about my problems today...I do not wish to deal with more burdens at the moment..can we just head home?" Aya whispered, averting her gaze to the floor. "A..alright." Aki muttered, spinning around to head home with Aya tagging behind him.
:: I feel bad for lying to him.::
:: Revenge:: The words flowed from Ceres' mind into Aya's, prompting the young woman to stumble on blindly ahead while fighting alien feelings again. She opened glossy lips to scream in pain, but stopped herself from doing so. Aya couldn't do it. The young girl could not involve her innocent brother in such insidious plots. :: Don't you want to teach that Akito Sohma a lesson?:: That smooth and cunning voice rose again to haunt her, until the blond-haired girl caved in. "Revenge...I want revenge.." She whispered softly, knowing the murderous feelings would follow her all through the night and all through school tomorrow. :: I'm thinking about hurting Akito...when I have other burdens to think about.:: Aya shook her head, wanting to tell Aki about missing school on purpose tomorrow. She could end up telling the teacher that the stomach flu had gotten a hold of her or perhaps Aya should just appear to talk with her last hope Haru. :: He is the only one...who can keep me from disappearing completely from Yuki's life...:: She muttered mentally as vengeance became another part of her subconscious mind.
------
Morning dawned clear for both young siblings as they struggled to rise from tangled bedsheets. Though for one of them, waking up for school had become such a strenuous burden. "I want to stay home.." Aya muttered slipping into a fresh school uniform that had been carefully laid out the previous night. Her eyelids felt slightly heavy, but the blond-haired girl knew it was from crying and lack of sleep. Or perhaps her overly active imagination. "Aya! Let's go before the school bell rings!" Aki's cheerful voice interrupted her muddled thoughts. "Thanks." She whispered in gratitude, glad that he had broken her negative spell at least for a while. "I'm coming in a minute!" Aya yelled from atop the stairs, her hands grabbing the backpack from the counter..she raced out into the cool morning. Even with the heavens shimmering a dull blue shade above them, Aya felt her spirit falling again. Yesterday's events had not left her mind nor had it vanished from thought. Every step she took brought on a different flash back from her conversation with Hatori to Yuki's pleas. ::Gah..:: Aya whimpered slightly, feeling quite reluctant to enter the alabaster building once again. Yet she had no choice, but to follow closely behind her brother all the while flickering blue hues for any sight of Haru. :: I wonder if he has news...of yesterday's..events?:: She questioned biting her lower lip nervously :: I just wonder..if he will even listen to me..much less help me again like last time.::
occ: Sorry again for the late post x-x. Alright skipped ahead to a morning scene in school and such..but I do remember we talked about Aya wanting to take revenge on Akito and something about appeasing Akito if I recall correctly...o_O
