Amai smiled at his words before laying back on the bed. She watched as he began to fiddle around with the tv before turning her gaze out the window. Her gaze was brought back to him however when he asked what it was like to be a shinigami and if it was worth living. "Everything is worth living, you just have to find a reason to do it. I became a shinigami because I didn't want to be a nobody anymore and I didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. My reitsu....killed all my friends without me even realizing it. So I went to the academy to change that. I never expected to become a Captain rank. It's a big job, looking after all those lives. But I teach my squad that everyone is an equal, no matter your rank, how you look, what you are. We are all equals. And when I became a Captain I was also hoping to change some views on hollow....But that didn't work out so well...", she sighed and rolled over on her side to face him.

"We should probably get some sleep so we can go see Urahara first thing in the morning", Amai stated, "So good night....Uhm...I just realized I don't think I know your name...I'm Amai Kyohaku. Captain of the Fifth Division. What's your name?", she smiled at him as she awaited to hear his name.

"not at all.. you are living proof yourself that one cannot simply stereotype everything around him"said Aden assuring her looking outside the window.. it was a strang place filled with so many lights.. would this urahara give him the answers he seeked

Aden tinkered with the tv set.. he fiddled with the remote and found a channel where everyone was laughing.. he looked at the sitcom for a second and tilted his head.. "how is that funny.."he thought "maybe something is wrong with me"he concluded after.. he turned his head towards Amai and asked" whats it like to be a shinigami.. to be a captain, is everyday.. worth living?

Amai didn't even catch what the man behind the desk had said. She simply shrugged it off and headed down the hall with him and into their room. She sighed and took a seat on the bed by the window and looked at him. "You probably think I'm weird because I'm different from the other shinigami in the way that I think...", 'no duh!' she thought before continuing, "But I just believe that it isn't your fault for the way you are or that your kind has to eat souls to survive. It's not a choice, you just want to live, and we make it hard....I don't believe all hollow are the same, that all are evil...they're just different...".

She laid back on the bed, stretching out and smiling towards the cieling, "My thinking isn't accepted though. I bet I would have been demoted, maybe even kicked out of the Gotei 13 squads all together if Ichigo Kurosaki hadn't shown up. And i have a feeling some now view me as someone like Aizen. But I'm not, and I don't want to be. He hurt a lot of people, including Arrancar and hollow...". She suddenly sat up and smiled. "Sorry! I'm rambling...U-uhm...I bet you're tired and probably want to sleep so I'll just shut up", she let out a small laugh, scratching her cheek. 'I really do talk too much...Just like Captain Kenpachi said...', she thought as she realized this.

"why are you sorry? shinigami's arent exactly lenient towards an espada.. especially not a captain class like yourself.. and i stabbed you in hueco mundo too"said Aden giving her a puzzled look "but you probably are one of the few shinigami that doesnt hate my guts resulting in you being stuck with me"

Aden turned around and looked at the city.. its lights dazzling him

"you.. shouldnt be sorry.. "he said still looking at the lights, he turend around and made a gesture with his head. "about a place to stay?"he asked her as if the previous conversation hadnt happened

As soon as Amai pointed out a motel Aden walked in first.. it was his habit to always check a new environment for dangers.. "mo..motel?"he asked the guy at the front desk

"yeah buddy.. what did you think we were? mcdonalds?"asked the front desk guy sarcastically

"give us a room.."said Aden expressionlessly not understanding the guys previous attempt at a joke.. as Amai walked in the guy at the front desk glanced at her

"you know we also have a 4 hour rate.."said the guy nudging Adenw ith his elbow

"why would we want 4 hours?"asked Aden innocently before he turned around and walked side by side with Amai. "people on earth are strange"he told her opening the door first.. the room was small and simple.. with 2 beds at the center and a small tv set

When they arrived in the alley, Amai listened to Ichigo as she climbed into her gigai. She was never fond of these things. They were always so complicated. She looked towards Ichigo as he handed Aden some money. "Well thank you and goodnight, Kurosaki", she stated with a smile, waving as he ran off. She then looked at Aden as he held up the money and asked what it was, causing her to giggle. "Oh, that's called money. People in the living world use it to buy items or pay for a place to stay, or something to eat. Like what we'll be doing tonight. So climb into that gigai and we'll find a place. I'm sure there is a hotel nearby", Amai explained.

She helped Aden into his gigai when he needed help, seeing as he had never used a gigai before the first time was always hard. They then headed off to find a place to stay for the night. "Back in Soul Society...I'm sorry I didn't act sooner....Knowing Captain Mayuri he probably put you through a lot of torture...", Amai bit her bottom lip, not entirely sure why she was apologizing but she just felt it was needed.

ichigo quickly held out his hand showing a small ball.. as soon as he broke it a huge portal opened up in front of him. "urahara has been improving it"he explained to the captains who were present. He beckoned towards Aden and Amia

"let's go! I have to find you guys a place to stay then go to be, I still have school tomorrow you know"he told them stepping into the portal.. Aden took a few steps forward and examined the portal, Aden then turned around to Amai "shall we"he asked her stepping into the portal first

they arrived in kurakura town, finding themselves in a small alley.. Ichigo had his body waiting there along with some fake ones for them

"urahara will work on better ones tomorrow.. here find a place to stay, I have to go home before morning"sighed ichigo handing Aden some money then running off towards his house

"what.. whats this"asked Aden holding out the money to Amai

Amai was relieved to hear that Aden would be given freedom. That he would be able to go see Urahara. So Aden wasn't going to be killed, and that had been her objective all along. But as Yamamoto banged his cane and pointed it at her, a queezy sort of feeling entered her stomach and she jumped slightly. She was expecting some sort of punishment terms to come out of his mouth, but instead she was being sent to watch over the Espada while he was in the living world. That was even more of a relief to hear that there was no punishment. She would gladly watch over this Espada. Maybe she could learn more about his kind.

"No objections and everything seems to be in order. Well then. Shall we take our leave?", Amai questioned, looking towards Ichigo and Aden. When Everything was set and arrange, and Amai had apologized for her reckless actions and had made sure Momo would be alright with taking care of the Fifth Division, they were off to the living world.

"espada.. you are a hollow at your care, to let you free is a betrayal to every thing the gotei 13 stand for but"said Yamamoto shaking his head "Kurosaki Ichigo has spoken for you, although he is young and headstrong we owe him and urahara a debt"continued the captain of squad 1

"who will keep watch over the espada?"asked shinsui taking the opportunity, he gave ukitake a whisper and smiled. ukitake then told yamamoto something

"agreed.. the espada will visit the other world as long as kisuke urahara wishes, im sure whatever urahara is planning is also of importance to soul society..then he will return here under our watch free to roam most of the court of souls."announced yamamoto, he tapped his cane one more time and pointed it to Amai. "captain Kyohaku will watch over him during his stay in the other world.

Aden watched on as the shinigami decided his future.. it wasnt total freedom but he decided he needed to at least settle.. for now..

"any objections espada?"asked the first squad captain

"none.."answered Aden.. as oon as he said this the rain stopped showing the clear night stars.. "i would like to meet this urahara too, i have some questions for him"added aden giving a nod to ichigo

Amai was startled to hear Yamamoto speak that she almost backed down. Almost. But before she could say or do anything further, Aden had moved her aside. She watched as he moved ahead and was readying to attack the others. 'I'm going to be in trouble anyway....for trying to protect him. For standing against all these captains...I may even lose my position....', she thought to herself.

As she was debating on what she should do now, an orange haired shinigami appeared and seemed to stop Aden's attack. Everyone stared in awe at the man. 'Urahara...?', she had heard of the man but had never met him before. What could he want with the Negative Espada? Amai sheathed her zanpakuto and looked towards the two. Maybe this Urahara would save this Espada. That is, if the Gotei 13 let him leave. Mainly Yamamoto.

"we simply cannot let an espada wander unchecked.. the protection of soul society is our number one priority.. you as a captain should know that better than anyone"said captain yamamoto suddenly appearing last on the scene with his luitenant

"oh.. boy, the old man's here, this wont end well"said captain shinsui in the background rolling his eyes, the rest of the gotei 13 grew silent

"Captain Kyohaku.. this is insabordination, stand aside now before you make this any worse!"roared Yamamoto tapping his cane on the ground forcefully. before Amai could even answer Aden's hand touched her shoulder pushing her gently aside

"at least i know that all shinigami aren't alike"said Aden with a small smile.. he hadnt smiled in a while.. "but you will lose a lot if you continue so just leave me be"said Aden walking towards all the gotei 13 that were present

"do you expect me to just die? I will fight whoever tries to stop me"shouted Aden raising hsi sword at all who were present as the rain he created poured to its fullest with (breaking benjamin- i will not bow) as the background music, Aden was almost ready to unleash a cero when a black figure appeared in front of him staying his hand

"I will keep him in check"said the man with orange hair and a black zanpaktou

"kurosaki ichigo! hero of the battle with aizen!"gasped one of the luitenants

"urahara asked me to get you"said ichigo turning his head to Aden. "who the hell are you.. who is urahara?"asked Aden his face still with shock that someone was fast enough to hinder him before he could pull off a cero

She had helped him? He was apologizing? All he wanted to do now was live. He gaze lowered to the ground, her face covered by her hair as thoughts began to fill her head. If this was how it always was going to be like, Shinigami fighting Hollow, fighting Arrancar. Nothing would change. Even if they couldn't save every soul, even if shinigami and Hollow needed each other to co-exsist, it didn't mean they had to be enemies. She still believed that Hollow were the way they are because they had no choice. They only wanted to survive. This Espada only wanted to survive. If no one takes a stand now, everyone will just keep killing thinking it was for a good cause. But is it really?

Amai placed a hand on the hilt of her zanpakuto. "I'm sorry...", she appeared in front of Aden, but instead of facing him, she was facing her own people. The shinigami. Her zanpakuto drawn and held towards them. "What are you doing, Captain Kyohaku?!", exclaimed Komamura. "I don't believe we have any right to kill this Espada. He hasn't done anything wrong. In fact, he is just like the rest of us. He is only trying to survive!", Amai stated. She didn't really want to fight the other captains since she wasn't sure if she could match up to them, being a new captain and all.

"Captain Kyohaku...?", Momo stood among the vice-captains in the crowd of shinigami. Was her captain betraying them to protect the enemy? An arrancar, an Espada. This was deja vu to her. It was like when Aizen left. Now her new captain was going to leave her?! Betray her?! "I don't want to fight you, any of you. I just want you to look at it from a different point of view. This Negative Espada only wants to live. We all only want to live as well, no matter who you are. Can't we just let him go...?", she lowered her zanpakuto slightly, hoping they would comply and let him leave in peace. But she had a feeling that wasn't going to happen. And she had a feeling, she had just put herself in a whole world of trouble.

Aden was surprised to see her.. clearly he had hoped not to cross paths with her again because she would probably stop him from escaping.. but a part of the espada was glad she arrived

"I wanted to thank you.. I wasnt sure there was any worth in life before but you proved me wrong, you probably dont understand.. but know that youve helped me"he told her losing his attack stance

" and about the wound.. I reget that.. sorry"he added turning around looking at the dark sky.. the thunder roaring in the background. "please let me escape.. I dont want anyone else to get hurt, I have already done enough"added Aden but when he started walking , byakuya, unohana and ukitake arrived on the scene along with the luitenants who werent living near ichigo at the moment

"your surrounded Espada.. did you really think you can escape.. your efforts were completely futile"said byakuya in his usual I AM BETTER THAN YOU tone

"this reiatsu.."observed unohana feeling the thunderstorm getting a nod from ukitake as well.. she looked worried. "that espada is stronger than we give him
credit for"

as more squads arrived surrounding Aden he bowed his head."please get out of my way"
